For products:

Last modified: 1/1/2011
Introduction:
By default, Webtrends uses the following TCP ports with the services listed below:
Webtrends - Apache [7099] (default for versions 8.1x and previous)
Webtrends - Internet Information Services [7099] (default for versions 8.5 and higher)
Webtrends - Email Notification Service [25]
Webtrends - Geotrends [7199]
Webtrends - MySQL [3306]
Webtrends - Report Cache Server [7299]
Webtrends - Tomcat [8007 & 8009)]
SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) [1433] (see additional information below)
If data sources are defined using FTP, then the following FTP ports will be used to access the data sources:
FTP [20 & 21]
Webtrends Software/Product Updates - 80
Webtrends Licensing Updates - 443
Further information:
For versions 8.5x and above, and earlier versions of the product MS SQL:
SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) [1433]
Webtrends will not recognize any port other than the default for an MS SQL database running as the default instance in Webtrends 7.x, 8.0x, 8.1x, and 8.5x.
For version 8.7d, MS SQL Express installs on a named instance so the port may differ from 1433. To find the port that SQL Express installed on, reference the registry key:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\WTSYSTEMDB\MSSQLServer\SuperSocketNetLib\Tcp
Please note that the above registry key is only for finding the TCP/IP port on a named SQL instance, a default SQL instance will always be 1433.
Insight Alerts [1801]
For version 9.2x and above, the Webtrends Insight interface uses Microsoft Message Queuing for alerting. Microsoft Message Queuing uses the following ports by default:
TCP 1801
UDP 1801
RPC 135, 2101, 2103, 2105
The Windows Operating System also uses a specified range of dynamic ports for applications and services. These are also known as "ephemeral" or "high-range" ports. These ports must also be open within a Webtrends environment in order for the application to work properly.
Windows 2003 and prior - TCP/IP Ports 1025 - 5000
Windows 2008 and newer - TCP/IP Ports 49152 - 65535 (conforms to IANA standards)
