How to add "Desktop" to mobile report based on WT.dv_type
For products:
Webtrends on Demand
Last modified: 1/10/2013
Situation:
Currently the "Device Types" report will show "none" for all hits from Desktops or other non-specified devices. It is possible to change none to Devices; however it is operating on the assumption that all hits without this dimension data are from Desktops
Process:
When creating the dimension based on this parameter, WT.dv_type, on the "Based On" page select the Advanced button. Next select the Override Default String box, then enter the New String to use here (“Desktop” or “Computer”). When creating the report and selecting this new dimension do not select the checkbox for Exclude activity without dimension data.
