Introduction:
The Webtrends JavaScript tag supports a number of specific parameters to handle events that do not traditionally qualify as a page view. These kinds of events include clicks on .pdf or other non-page file types, clicks on links leading off-site (which normally would not be logged), and clicks and entries within forms, among others. For each event type, the WT.dl parameter is used with a value specific to the event. The following list of WT.dl parameter values is an excerpt from the Webtrends Unified Event Model:
0 – Page view
20 – Download Links
21 – Anchor Links
22 – JavaScript Links (javascript:)
23 - MailTo Links (mailto:)
24 – Off-site Links
25 – Right Click to Download Links
26 – Form Button (get method)
27 – Form Button (post method)
28 – Form Button (input tag)
29 – Form Button (button tag)
30 – Image map
40 - YouTube impressions
41 - YouTube or other video events
50 - On-site ad impressions (when not a page view)
60 - Mobile app event that is not a content/screen view such as a button click, ad click, ad impression, etc.
61 - Mobile app application state event
99 - Link click (unspecified)
111 - Facebook plugin
125 - Heatmap plugin
Any log file entry without a WT.dl parameter will default to a value of 0.
